Smart Africa
To celebrate Africa Week, the BBC Kids program Smart came to
shoot on location in a game farm near Port Elizabeth. In keeping
with the show’s identity we were asked to create the 5 letters
of the name in bold 3-D shapes with and African flavour.

Erected inside a casino foyer, this oval inflatable dome was

and be assembled by ordinary maintenance staff at the venue.

This set was created using recycled parts of redundant sets that
were taking up space in the SABC storage area.

when the timer switches were off.
